Jeremiah 4:26-28

²⁶I saw, and behold, ^[a]the ^(A)fruitful orchard was a wilderness,
And all its cities were torn down
Before Yahweh, before His burning anger.

²⁷For thus says Yahweh,

“The ^(B)whole land shall be a desolation,
Yet I will ^(C)not execute a complete destruction.
²⁸For this the ^(D)earth shall mourn
And the ^(E)heavens above be dark
Because I have ^(F)spoken; I have purposed,
And I will not ^[b]relent, nor will I turn from it.”
